From powerful messages of love, whimsical holiday performances, or an iconic symbol of revenge; this design can be used in so many ways. It holds a special place in our hearts and the first design I brought to market.

This was the piece that started it all. After making a headpiece for my wife, she said, “…ya know you should make a heart one, I think performers would love it…” and so it began lol.

Whimsical, a-symmetrical, and iconic. The three arms of this can be decorated with anything from cut boas, to full feathers. Pieces show are with 4 play ostrich boa feathers. This is a custom Showpony featuring a light lavender wrap, light lavender eagle feathers, pink synthetic sprouts, clear and light pink crystals. This is the specialty custom put up for the launch of the Showpony ready-to-wear style.

The showpony is a creative solution as much as it is an art piece. It evokes both fetish imagery like that of leash or ponyplay, but it also reads very classic showgirlx; featuring a similar architecture to stage troupes and performers of the classic era in Las Vegas.

Let’s talk features! First, this headpiece is adjustable (as all Caged showgirl pieces are) around the typical headband, allowing you to change the pressure on the sides of your head. The crown feature allows for a second set of adjustable arms around the back of the head. These arms are designed so that no matter what your final adjusted size, the look will remain intact and elegant.

Along with our second feature, two loops at the bottom of the side arms to allow for ribbon or elastic, these features make the Showpony the most secure headpiece in the collection. Backrolls… no problem, floorwork… a breeze.

This headpiece is perfect for the fetish performer, the acrobat, and it’s also a great headpiece to buy in multiples for troupes, as it’s easy to customize and will fit any head while maintaining a clear aesthetic.
